WESLEY the wallaby seems to have landed on his feet.
The runaway marsupial, who sparked a massive police hunt last year after being spotted on the loose near the York outer ring road, was captured and rehomed at Askham Bryan College.
Now he has been joined by three more wallabies: two of them ladies.
It seems that love is in the air – and the wallabies have all paired up. It surely won’t be long before we hear the pitter patter (or should that be hop-and-thump?) of tiny feet...
