A HORRIFIED couple were tied up in their own home while masked men stole cash and jewellery.

The elderly husband and wife were targeted by three men between 6.15pm and 7pm on Tuesday night at their house in South Park Road, Harrogate.

"I would like to remind residents that this kind of incident is unusual in North Yorkshire but to remain vigilant and report anything suspicious to the police."
