THE Winter Wonderland ice skating rink is returning to the Designer Outlet this weekend.

Opening on Saturday, the festive event will include an ice rink, Santa’s grotto and funfair.

Now in its tenth year The Ice Factor rink is said to be the largest in the north with 900m2. It has a 30ft Christmas tree at its centre and is surrounded by an illuminated forest, festive log cabins and a viewing platform.

In previous years the annual event has attracted many tens of thousands of visitors.

The attraction will be open until January 4.
