Lorry sheds load of metal on York roundabout
A LORRY has shed its load of metal on a roundabout between York and Selby.
The HGV was on the A19 Fulford Road roundabout from the A64 close to the Designer Outlet, when the metal scaffolding poles and steel girders it was transporting fell from the lorry into the road.
North Yorkshire Police said the driver had arranged for recovery of the vehicle and the metal, and the road was closed for a short period at 10.45am before the road reopened at about 12.10pm.
