1) 29 July 1987 - Looking towards Front Street

5) 8 November 1978 - This junction was causing safety concerns for road users.

11) 10 August 1993 - Young football fans who are fighting efforts to stop them using land behind Baildon Close as a pitch
12) 23 December 1987 - Party at Edmund Wilson Swimming Baths after members of York Dolphin Swimmers Club for disabled people had enjoyed a visit.
13) 21 April 1989 - Acomb Bowling Club opens new pavilion
14) 21 March 1977 - Protesters outside York council offices - The caption reads: "Angry, placard-brandishing housewives from the Foxwood Lane estate occupied a room at the city council housing services department today in protest over massive electricity bills."
15) 14 November 1974 - playpark at the Thanet Road end of Foxwood Lane. Locals were unhappy about its condition, with mud three feet deep in places.
16) 26 July 1973 - A general street scene
17) 4 July 1972 - An unofficial tip behind St Stephen's Road. Residents said people were dumping rubbish there. Yorkshire Clubs Brewery, which said it owned the land, said it wanted to allow builders to dump hard core there before levelling off.
