POLICE searching for missing York man Clive Nicholson have released new CCTV images. 

The CCTV stills show what police believe is Mr Nicholson’s blue Ford Mondeo arriving near to the Elmwood Farm pub in Beighton, Sheffield, where he parks the car on the road, gets out of the car and walks towards his place of work on Old Colliery Way.

The images were taken at about 8am on Sunday, October 19, and Mr Nicholson has not been seen or heard from since.

Police said they are extremely concerned for his welfare and are appealing to anyone who may have seen him in the Beighton or Sheffield area since last Sunday.

Officers will be in Beighton near Sheffield on Sunday morning to speak to passers-by and hand out leaflets appealing for information.

Police have also teamed up with the Missing People charity who have distributed posters in the Sheffield area.

Mr Nicholson is described as white, of medium build, 5ft 9in tall, with short greying hair, blue eyes and he wears glasses. He is believed to be wearing a cable-knit grey jumper, white polo t-shirt, dark blue jeans and black shoes. He may also be wearing a waist-length grey hooded jacket.

Inspector Ian Pope of North Yorkshire Police, said: “Mr Nicholson’s family are devastated at his disappearance and desperately want to find him. I urge members of the public who believe they may have seen him to contact the police without delay.

“Better still, if Mr Nicholson sees or hears our appeal, we urge you to make contact with your family, friends or the police and let us know that you are safe.”
