Transparent trophy
IN MONDAY’S Press there was a photograph of the Lord Mayor and a group of lady bowlers. The Mayor was at Thanet Road Indoor Bowls Club to offer his congratulations on the club winning two England trophies, the Yetton and the Vivienne.
Just in case the bowling fraternity are wondering where the Vivienne trophy is, it is held by the small lady standing behind the Lord Mayor, but because it is made of a material you can see through, it does not show up well on camera.
