YORKSHIRE comedian Billy Pearce will be "close up and at his naughtiest" when he plays The Mayfield in Seamer, near Scarborough, on September 26.
The Leeds-born entertainer is best known for headlining Bradford Alhambra's record-breaking pantomime for the past 14 winters with his fast and furious brand of silly-billy comedy.
"There are very few stages in the country that Billy hasn't performed on, so we're delighted that a true Yorkshire comedy legend is performing at The Mayfield”, says Julie Finnigan, from the Seamer venue.
"Billy's appearance here forms part of our series of comedy nights this autumn, which also sees Bobby Davro take to our stage on October 17. Tickets for both comedians are selling fast, so early booking is advised."
