THE man who was murdered in a Yorkshire seaside town has been named by police as 39-year-old Graham White.

Mr White was found at an address in Sewerby Road with a serious injury at about 4.25am on Wednesday, and despite the efforts of paramedics died at the scene.

A vehicle containing four men thought to be connected with the incident was stopped in Seaton, near Hornsea, just before 5am on Wednesday, and all four men - aged 22, 27, 37 and 47 - were arrested on suspicion of murder.

Humberside Police said today the 47-year-old remains in Hull Royal Infirmary receiving treatment for injuries sustained during the incident, and the three other men remain in police custody.

On Thursday, a further two men - aged 41 and 27 - and a 14-year-old boy were arrested in connection with the investigation and are in police custody.

Police have urged anyone who saw the incident or heard the disturbance in Sewerby Road to contact them on 101 or phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
