DRINKS were sunk all round at the 19th hole after retired plumber Tommy Jackson holed in one at Drax Golf Club.
While playing in a senior three ball game, using a nine iron at the fifth tee, his 150 yard drive dropped on the green and rolled plumb into the par three hole.
Tommy, 68, who is a 22 handicap golfer has been playing at Drax for 20 years, but it is his first hole in one.
“It was a great feeling, something I will always remember.” Said a delighted Tommy.
A former trophy winner at Drax, he is also a member of Bridlington Golf Club.
