THIEVES stole copper piping and brass during a raid on an outbuilding in Richmond.
Police are appealing for information after the break-in which occurred between 8.30pm on Sunday, August 10 and 8am the next day.
The crooks also took copper and brass plumbing fittings, batteries and hand tools valued around £1,800 from the home in Dalton.
PC Kathryn Williams, of Richmond Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If you were in the Dalton area during the time of the burglary and noticed any suspicious activity, I urge you to come forward as you may have information which could help my investigation.
“I am keen to speak to anyone who may have been offered the stolen property and ask that they get in touch.”
