YORK’S St Leonard’s Hospice has recently launched its new website, designed to inform patients, the public and health professionals about the services offered by the charity.
Theresa Barrett, communications manager, said: “We are thrilled with the easy way supporters can now donate online or book on to one of our many fundraising events. One of the main features we have incorporated is our very own tribute and fundraising pages for those wanting to raise money on our behalf.
“By late September you will also be able to buy Christmas cards, calendars and our very own e-Cards via the online shop. Another new development which we are very excited to offer soon is an interactive area for bereaved children and young adults.
"It is important we blend the need to inform patients, their families and health professional about the range of services and care offered, while encouraging others to support, volunteer and fundraise for this very worthy cause.”
