A 22-year-old man is fighting for his life in hospital following a serious collision.

The driver was travelling on York Road, in Bishop Burton, at 7.40pm yesterday when his green Ford Fiesta car left the road 100 metres before the entrance to Bishop Burton College, hit a tree, and came to a stop on its roof.
