A TEACHER was given the 'This is Your Life' treatment when he retired after working for 32 years at a York primary school.
Dave Reed, 59, was presented with a 'big red book' full of pictures and a commentary covering his childhood and through his time at Clifton Green Primary School, in keeping with the traditions of the former TV show.
Staff member John Hattam said Mr Reed started work in 1982 at the former Kingsway Junior School, which later merged with Shipton Street Infant School to become Clifton Green Primary.
He now planned to spend more time on his two passions, photography and travel, in his retirement.
Mr Reed, a married father-of-two from, said: "The favourite part of my job has been working with the children and seeing them develop over the years."
