NANDO’S is to become the latest restaurant chain to open its doors at York's new Vangarde Shopping Centre as the brand launches its second site in the city.
The new 145-seater restaurant, which has created 40 new jobs, is opening on July 9.
It is the second Nando's in York, following on from the brand's restaurant in High Ousegate which opened in 2008.
Nick Drew, Nando’s regional managing director said: “We’re absolutely delighted to open our second restaurant in York, a city that clearly enjoys its PERi-PERi chicken.
"The team behind the new restaurant are chomping at the bit to open the doors to the public."
The £15 million Vangarde Shopping Park, in Monks Cross, opened in April and featuring a number a new restaurants including Prezzo, Giraffe, Frankie and Benny's and Ed'sEasy Diner.
