POLICE are continuing to appeal for information after a large amount of metal was stolen from Grade II-listed Holy Trinity Church.
The theft took place before Monday, April 29at the former Anglican parish church on Mount Pleasant, in Blackburn, now under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust.
The thieves stripped lead from the church roof, as well as dismantling the antique pipe organ in order to steal all its internal metal parts.
