THEATRE Evenings: Silchester Players present “Stepping Out” a comedy by Richard Harris. There are performances tonight and Saturday, then May 16 and 17. Doors open at 7pm and curtain up at 7.30pm.

PARISH council annual meeting: Monday, at 7.30pm, in the hall, for all villagers to come along and find out what your elected councillors have been working on for us all, and what is planned for the future.
JUMBLE and Plant Sale: Will be taking place in the Methodist Church Hall on May 17, from 10am. Jumble may be taken to the hall on Friday, May 16, between 6pm and 7pm.
GARDEN Open: Advance notice that Silchester Hall Garden will be open on May 25/26 from 2pm to 6pm. Paintings will be on display and teas available.
“QUIET Time”: Parish church will host a “quiet time” next Saturday, from 10am to noon, with time for reflection and a cup of tea and cake. Come along for a peaceful time.
