Voters urged to register
SELBY District Council is urging voters across the district to register for the electoral roll by next Tuesday to ensure they can vote in the European elections on May 22.
Chief executive Mary Weastell, who is the local returning officer, said: ‘We want to make sure every resident in Selby has the chance to vote in these elections as it is every citizen’s democratic right.”
