AN East Riding care worker has been named as a finalist in this year’s Great British Care Awards.
Beatrice Gibbons, who is deputy manager at HC-One Windsor Court Care Home in Goole, is in the running for an award at the ceremony has been announced as a finalist at the awards, which takes place on Saturday at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
Mrs Gibbons, who has worked at Windsor Court for 17 years, is a finalist in the Frontline Leaders category. Her nomination comes after she was a runner up in the Frontline Leaders award at the Great Yorkshire & Humberside Care Awards in November 2013.
HC-One Windsor Court Care Home manager Patricia Owen, said: “Beatrice is a much-loved and highly valued member of the Windsor Court team.
“She always goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that all our residents, especially those with dementia, receive the best standard of care.
“Beatrice is a very worthy finalist and we wish her the best of luck for Saturday.”
