FENWICK Street Park is parkland? Since when has parkland been part of brownfield site?
Also the council want to build eight two-bedroom flats for pensioners down-sizing, so why two bedrooms; surely a one-bedroom flat would suffice?
The council goes on to say it needs 70 more such flats by 2015, yet there are enough proper brownfield sites to build a block of 78 flats.
British Sugar for one and nearer to town, and the old Reynards Garage in Piccadilly would convert nicely for them too.
