STAFF at an agricultural machinery retailer are set to cycle the Coast to Coast route to raise funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Julie Williamson, of Ripon Farm Services, said she would be joined by colleagues Becky Brown, Lucy Townend, Graham Clarkson, Callum Snow, Tom Jobling and Paul Brown on the 170-mile Way of the Roses ride from Friday to Sunday.
She said the group, which has already attracted more than £5,000 sponsorship, wanted to raise as much as possible as it costs the charity £9,990 a day to keep both of its helicopters maintained and in the air.
She added: “Over recent years, too many of our friends and customers have needed the help and assistance from the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, so we thought it was time to give something back.”
