A TEENAGE girl was head-butted by a stranger while walking in a York street, police have said today.
The 14-year-old girl was walking in Monkton Road at about 9.15pm on Monday, April 7, when she was struck in the side of her face by the man, who made off towards Malton Road.
A police spokesman said the man was white, in his mid-twenties with stubbly facial hair, and was wearing a light tracksuit top with the hood up and light jogging bottoms.
The victim was uninjured in the incident, but police urge anyone with information to phone 101.
