Children must be happy if they are to perform well at school and to achieve their potential.
We see each child as an individual and seek to encourage and develop their strengths whilst nurturing and supporting their weaknesses. Success develops confi dence and self-esteem and we aim to motivate our children to become independent learners.
The school is well resourced and operates within a happy, stimulating and caring environment.
Junior School caters for children between the ages of 3 and 11 years. Pre-school and reception children follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Profi le. This is given to developing the essential basic skills in literacy and numeracy, providing opportunities for creative and physical development and utilising play to facilitate learning and develop social skills.
The Learning Support department assesses all of our children upon entrance and conducts ongoing continuous assessment. Where children require additional support they provide an individual plan designed to address specific targets and provide individual, small group and in-class support.
- We currently have armed forces bursary places available - £5000 per term.
