THE Lord Mayor of York, Coun Julie Gunnell, visited Pike Hills Golf Club to thank them for their support of the upcoming Lord Mayor’s Charity Golf Day.
The annual event, now in its seventh year, will take place on Friday, April 25 and teams of golfers will compete for the Lord Mayor’s Cup.
All funds raised go to the Independent Domestic Abuse Service and the Jack Raine Foundation.
Coun Gunnell said: “We have been overwhelmed by the support of local businesses that have sponsored holes on the course and the number who have already signed up to take part in the competition.”
