Witnesses sought to fight on a train between Scarborough and York
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed three men fighting on a train between Scarborough and York to come forward.
Officers want to speak to anyone who may have seen the fight on Thursday, February 20, on board the 19:48 Scarborough to York train.
PC Nick Storey said: “We have identified the men and will be speaking to them in due course, but I am keen to trace anyone who may have been travelling on this train and saw what took place.”
Anyone with information is asked to phone British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40, quoting background reference NEA/B5 of 15/02/2014.
