Man arrested over threats to police
A man who threated to hurt a frontline police officer was arrested in York early yesterday.
The 42-year-old man made a series of hoax calls to the force control room between midnight and 12.40am, and made threats against an officer.
Police arrested the man at about 1.25am at an address in Invicta Court, and he remains in custody.
