A Jedi Master was spotted entertaining the crowds in the centre of York.
The busker, dressed as Yoda from the Star Wars films, entertained shoppers and tourists by balancing precariously on a staff outside Browns department store, presumably using the powers of the “Force” to remain there.
He was one of the more weird and wonderful buskers who are a common sight over the school half-term period in the city.
York has a great reputation for buskers, with the annual Buskival busking festival taking place on June 7 and 8 this year.
Yoda is not the only Star Wars character to be seen on the city’s streets.
A Storm Trooper also puts in a regular appearance in Spurriergate.
