A FOUR-YEAR scheme designed to improve key routes into East Yorkshire towns and tourist areas will see new artworks installed on four roundabouts.
Projects are planned in Carnaby, Hedon, Goole and Beverley, following schemes to produce a racehorse artwork on the A1079 approach to Beverley and seaside images on the A165 near Bridlington.
The new works will include a fishing boat, two triangular windmill-shaped flower beds and two large crescent-shaped flower beds.
The council said the designs would be funded from existing budgets, and the programme had sparked interest in private sponsorship.
