Talk by former inmate Shaun Attwood
A FORMER inmate of American prisons will speak about his personal experience of human rights abuses in US jails at a meeting in York tonight, organised by the city’s branch of Amnesty International.
Shaun Attwood, author of Hard Time and a new book called Prison Time, will appear at a Writers On Rights event at 7pm at The Bar Convent in Blossom Street.
Tickets, costing £4, are available on the door.
