THE motorcyclist who died in a crash last weekend has been named as Simon Parsons from Harrogate.
Mr Parsons, 25, was riding a black Triumph Daytona at about 5.10pm on Sunday, when he was in collision with a gold Honda CR-V near the entrance of High Moor Farm Caravan Park, about five miles outside the town.
He was taken to Harrogate District Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Lynn and Keith Parsons, Simon’s parents, said: “The last few days have shown us that Simon, the eldest of our two sons, was a well-loved and extremely popular young man.
“He had achieved so much for us to be proud of in his short life, and will always be remembered and forever in our hearts.”
An inquest into Mr Parson’s death is expected to be opened and adjourned next week.
