Tadcaster Grammar School Year 7 student Adam Knipe was instantly dubbed a lucky mascot.
With the school sponsoring the Northern Counties East League match between hosts Tadcaster Albion and Garforth Town as part of a new tie-up between school and club, the Brewers triumphed 4-1 to return to the top of the premier division.
