STEALTHY advance will provide the spur to Simon Dyson’s assault on the Joburg Open.
Moving from the Middle East to South Africa, Dyson goes into the $1.3 million tournament on the crest of solid form.
He followed his joint 16th place in the Qatar Masters with a tie for 20th position in the Dubai Desert Classic.
Besides that brace of tournaments yielding the Malton & Norton Golf Club player more than 40,000 euros, the double display continued his upswing in the world rankings, rising a further eight places to 166th place and to a steady 40th position in the European Tour’s annual Race To Dubai.
