Register property with the police
A SERIES of events for residents of York to have their property registered with police will be held in coming weeks.
Safer York Partnership and North Yorkshire Police will register property directly to the Immobilise National Property Register, to deter thieves and prevent stolen items being sold on.
The events will be held at the following venues:
• Friday, January 31, 4pm to 8pm, Tang Hall Library, York
• Friday, February 7, 10.30am to noon, Tang Hall Community Centre
• Monday, February 10, 4pm to 8pm at Asda, Layerthorpre
• Tuesday, February 18, 4pm to 8pm at Morrisons, Foss Island.
