EASINGWOLD carried off the trophy at Terrington Hall’s inaugural under-13s school football tournament.
Despite holding the winners to a 0-0 draw, the hosts came third after losing 2-0 to Ryedale School, while Ryedale came second after a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Easingwold.
Phil Magson, Terrington Hall’s U13 coach, said: “It was a great afternoon of football played out with barely a foul.
“There was some very skilful play by Easingwold and they fully deserved their victory.”
