FUNDRAISERS looking for a new challenge this year are being urged to snap up places in a series of events in aid of the York Teaching Hospital Charity (YTHC).
There are 30 places available at the Jane Tomlinson York 10k on Sunday, August 3, of which the YTHC is a charity partner, as well as in the Leeds Half Marathon on Sunday May 11, the Great North Run on Sunday, September 7, and the Yorkshire Marathon on Sunday, October 12.
Thrillseekers can also take part in a tandem skydive, with jumps available at various sites, while there are also treks to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, along the Great Wall of China or cycle challenges from London to Paris.
The YTHC is working with Global Adventure Challenges who have been organising world wide charity challenge events since 2000.
