Families with seriously ill children in Yorkshire will be able to enjoy Christmas lunch together following a donation of £25,000 by Royal Mail Group to the Together For Short Lives, the leading charity for the UK’s 49 children’s hospices.
Martin House, based in Clifford, near Boston Spa, will benefit from the donation which will give families the chance to celebrate Christmas together.
Steve Ballantyne, director of fundraising at Together For Short Lives, said: “The funding will give families caring for a seriously ill child the chance to enjoy the festive celebrations and spend time together as a family.”
