CHRISTMAS spirit has arrived in Easingwold with the switch-on of the town’s lights on a 20-foot tree on Market Green.
The tree is funded by house builder Persimmon Homes Yorkshire, which is about to start work on a 22-home development in Easingwold.
The company’s field sales manager Emma Johnson said: “Easingwold is a picturesque market town with a wonderful community feel. We were more than happy to support the town’s festivities.”
Diane Gallon, the chairman of the town council, thanked Persimmon for their support.
