IT WILL be a long time before people use public transport to go to work because it is not reliable enough.
The First York service often misses out a bus on the No 10 service without any explanation. The display shows a bus due and then it disappears from the display and the bus doesn’t turn up.
If there is a good reason for this – such as breakdown or accident – then surely it should be possible to give a note on the display board, especially in this technological age.
Is it coincidence that the ‘disappearing bus’ is often the last one from York on Friday evenings?
