RING RING is the latest ABBA album to receive the full and fabulous deluxe make over, with 13 additional tracks and a complimentary DVD.

But technically Ring Ring wasn’t even an ABBA album. Originally released in Sweden in 1973, Ring Ring was the product of the clumsily named and grammatically flawed group Bjorn, Benny & Agnetha, Frida. Ring Ring didn’t see the light of day in the UK until 1992, although by this time diehard fans already knew Nina Pretty Ballerina, People Need Love and the album’s title song from the band’s first greatest hits compilation. Ring Ring was a work in progress and gave only a little indication for future glories.

This deluxe package is a welcome library piece of the least known and cherished ABBA album. But, completists will think they have died and gone to heaven, with the inclusion of truly rare early recordings and long-forgotten collaborations, even if they are not essential classics.
