York Minster is hosting a series of festive workshops this month offering the chance to create handmade gifts in time for Christmas.
The craft workshops will take place on each Saturday leading up to Christmas and involve creating cross-stitch Christmas cards, Christmas wreaths and, for children aged five and over, a pretty peg doll angel.
Materials will be provided and participants will work with the Minster’s stitching and flower arranging teams. Seasonal snacks and refreshments will also be provided.
Tickets must be pre-booked and are priced at £2.50 for the pretty peg doll angel workshop and £15 each for both the cross-stitch Christmas card and Christmas wreath workshops.
