POLICE have appealed for the public’s help to locate a missing man from Harrogate.

James Kipling, 35, has not been seen since 4.30pm on Thursday, when drove away from his home in Allotment Gardens.

He is described as "white, 6ft 3in tall, with a large build and balding", by police.

When James was last seen he was wearing a light or medium blue polo shirt, navy jewel hoodie with red in the hood, jeans and trainers.

The car James was driving when he left his home was a white Audi A6, registration number GY63SVT.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned for James’ welfare as this disappearance is out of character.

Although it is not known where James is, it is known that he has links to the Guisborough and Redcar areas of Cleveland.

Inspector Ed Noble, of Harrogate Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “James, if you see or hear this appeal I urge you to get in touch with your wife straight away, as she is very worried about you and needs to know that you are a safe and well.

“If you would prefer to speak to a police officer, you can contact me directly and I will reassure your wife that you are safe.

“I am also asking anyone who has seen James Kipling since he was reported missing to come forward and contact the police immediately.”

Anyone who can help to locate James Kipling should contact North Yorkshire Police straight away on 101, select option 1 and pass the information to the Force Control.
