PERFORMERS, musicians, artists and live animals provided the entertainment for a walking tour which celebrated community food and culture.
Goats, shadow puppets, art installations and the King of Vegetables and his jester featured on the Incredible Tour and Party.
A quirky tour of Edible York’s growing sites started at the Barbican beds with a performance by Adam Ekin and Joel Dean of Jamhed Theatre, fresh from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
The hour-long guided trail also included performances by My Brother My Captain My King showcasing their new play The Backwards Dog and Four Shadows Theatre as The Secret Mariachi Band.
The tour ended with a display of sculptural work by arts collective Salt+Powell at the Peasholme Green beds and also in the sensory gardens at St Anthony’s Hall, where pygmy goats Rizzo and Rolo were the star attractions.
