Poachers alert for Selby district
REPORTS of poaching in the Selby district have increased, with residents in Fairburn, Womersley and Byram reporting a number of 4x4 vehicles with high-powered lamps entering fields to poach wildlife.
Residents have been urged to remain vigilant, and report any vehicles or individuals seen acting suspiciously to North Yorkshire Police on 101.
