AN elderly couple were taken to hospital following a crash in East Yorkshire in the early hours of Sunday.
The incident occurred at Garrowby Road, Bishop Wilton, at about 1.25am, when a car left the road on a corner and rolled over into some woods.
An elderly male and an elderly female were trapped due to position of the car, which landed on its roof, and fire crews from Humberside released them using hydraulic cutting equipment.
A Humberside Fire Service spokeswoman said neither suffered any significant injury, but were taken to hospital.
