A PAIR of buskers have been making the trek across the Pennines to perform in York.

Ben Clarke and Neil Shaw-Hulme, from the Macclesfield and Bollington area of Cheshire, claim to offer “every style of music” for “every style of occasion.”

Their act features brass, piano and vocals and covers a wide span of genres.

Known as Neilbenmusic, they have been performing together for six months, although they have been friends for ten years and have played in other groups previously.

According to Neil, their audiences have been “very friendly” and have become completely immersed in the performance, with one couple going so far as to waltz on the street.
