TWO men have been injured in two different crashes on the A1041 near Selby this morning.
The first incident happened at about 3.25am, when a yellow Fiat Punto left the road near Camblesforth.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said the driver, an 18-year-old man, left the vehicle after the crash, and was found at a nearby address, where he was found to be suffering from a facial injury.
The second incident took place at about 6.40am, when a red Fiat Punto driven by a 33-year-old man ran off the road, and crashed into a tree.
Due to the position of the car, the man was trapped, and firefighters had to release him from the vehicle. The police spokesman said the man was suffering from a suspected broken collarbone, but his injuries were not thought to be life threatening.
The A1041 was closed between the junction with Abbot's Road and the A63 Selby Bypass, until about 7.45am.
Both men were taken to York Hospital, where they remain.
