STUDENTS took to the catwalk to showcase their work and mark the end of the academic year at Selby College.

The annual Fashion Show was held at Selby Abbey, with the two-hour show having become one of the college’s key creative events.

The first collection to emerge was The Libertines, a Year 1 extended diploma in fashion and clothing collection.

The garments were created in just two hours as part of the college’s annual Skills Tournament. There were also impressive collections of T-shirts and puppets from art and design students and hats from the Year 2 extended diploma in fashion and clothing students.

Selby College fashion tutor, Kiku Jackson said: “The fashion show is a very demanding event for all involved and students work tirelessly to ensure all their garments are finished in time. I’m so proud of all their hard work and I’m delighted it has been rewarded with a capacity crowd.”
