FOURTEEN girls from The Rebecca Davies School of Dance in Huntington, York, have been won associate ballet places with Northern Ballet Leeds, or The Royal Ballet School London or The Yorkshire Ballet Scholarship Centre York.
The girls will take part each weekend from September in classical ballet classes at the centres. Competition is tough for a place with girls travelling from all over the country hoping to be lucky enough to gain a place.
Rebecca Davies said “I am thrilled for them. To have 14 from one dance school is a great achievement. Their hard work has paid off and the girls’ technique and potential has been recognised.”
