THERE’S still time to enter the Thompson’s Country Store Pet Show, which takes place in York on Saturday.
This year’s show promises to be a bigger and better than ever, with two new classes, have-a-go dog agility, dog grooming demonstrations, a new loyalty card scheme and more and two new categories join this year’s lineup – the best veteran dog and best rescue dog.
Sarah Ivinson, of Thompsons, said: “There are lots of older dogs who don’t get the chance to show very often, so the veteran dog class is perfect for those beloved family pets.
“The same is true of rescue dogs. Some have great stories to tell and owners who love to tell them.
“Including these two categories is a great addition to show.”
The show is being held at York Auction Centre from 10am to 4pm.
Admission is free. To enter the competition, go to yorkpress.co.uk/petshow
