A TEENAGER has gone missing from her home in York.

Chantelle Hughes, 15, has been missing from her home in Acomb since July 13.

Since then, she has been seen in York and there was also a sighting of her at Northallerton train station on July 17.

Officers are becoming concerned for Chantelle’s welfare, due to the length of time she has been missing.

Chantelle is white, about 5ft 4in tall, with blue eyes and pink hair.

Inspector Richard Abbott, of North Yorkshire Police, said: “Chantelle, I urge you to make contact with the police as soon as possible. “You are not in any trouble, we just want to check that you are ok and no harm has come to you.

“Just pick up a pay phone – it is free to call the police – and let us know that you are ok.

“I also urge the public to keep an eye out for Chantelle and let us know if they see her.”

Anyone with information should call police on 101.
